PAUL WILKINS

Bio

Paul Wilkins is a UK-born actor and singer, originally from Hampshire. He graduated with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre from ArtsEd, London, in 2015. His career began in the 30th Anniversary Company of Les Misérables in London’s West End, where he performed as 2nd cover Marius. After six months, he was offered the lead role of Marius on the Asian Tour of Les Misérables (Manila, Singapore, and Dubai), before returning to London to reprise the role for an additional 18 months.

Following his three years with Les Misérables, Paul originated the role of Reggie in The Dreamers, an original British musical based on the true story of World War I officer David Reginald Salomons. Created by James Beeny and Gina Georgio, the production developed through workshops at the Victoria Palace Theatre and culminated in an album recording and a groundbreaking full-scale production at Abbey Road Studios - the first musical ever staged at the historic venue.

Paul went on to tour the UK and Germany as Claude Bukowski in the 50th Anniversary Tour of Hair! and has participated in workshops for various new productions, including Lady M, Anna & The Sting, and Ann Duck by Cush Jumbo, produced by the National Theatre. His concert performances include live appearances as a soloist on Friday Night is Music Night for BBC Radio 2 and RTÉ Lyric FM’s Movies and Musicals with Aedín Gormley.

In September 2023, Paul relocated to Cork, Ireland, to pursue a Master’s in Music Performance at the Cork School of Music. While establishing himself in Ireland, he appeared in the 2024 commercial Your Vote Is Your Voice for Ireland's Electoral Commission and is currently starring as Prince Charming in Cork Opera House’s production of Cinderella.

Paul is represented by Adam Mendelsohn at The Narrow Road Company.
