New classes launched for Professional Actors in Cork!

Paul Wilkins has launched a new series of in-person professional acting classes in Cork City, with the first four sessions taking place across Feb and Mar '26 at Civic Trust House, Cork.

The opening programme features leading industry professionals:

• Leoni Kibbey, Agent and Director at Capulet

• Des Kennedy, Artistic Director, The Everyman; Assoc. Director, Harry Potter

• Shauna Griffith, Casting Director (SG Casting)

The initial four sessions - spanning Career Strategy, Acting Through Song, Self-Taping and In-Room Audition Practice - are intended as the first of many to follow.

“Having trained and worked in London before relocating to Cork, I became very aware of the difference in accessible professional classes for established and emerging actors. Dublin has a wealth of opportunity for adult actors, but Cork has far fewer consistent industry-facing spaces. I wanted to help create one - connecting Cork more directly to Dublin, London and beyond - so actors can keep their practice sharp and their careers moving without feeling they must relocate to do so.” - Paul Wilkins

Sessions will run in two formats - 3-Hour Workshops and 90-Minute Focus evenings - offering accessible, industry-led development for actors at professional and pre-professional level.
