ArtsEd Students perform a number from Wonderful Town

Paul Wilkins made his drama school debut in a public performance as Officer Lonigan in Wonderful Town, Leonard Bernstein’s classic musical, during his third year at ArtsEd, London. This week-long production, featuring a book by Joseph Fields and Jerome Chodorov with lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, was part of his BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre program.

The production was directed by Ian Talbot, known for his extensive work in the West End, including The Pirates of Penzance and High Society, and his celebrated tenure as Artistic Director of Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.

Choreography was crafted by Olivier Award-winner Drew McOnie, acclaimed for his work on In the Heights, Strictly Ballroom, and King Kong on Broadway.

Musical direction was led by Tim Evans, former Deputy Head of Music at ArtsEd, who has served as musical director for numerous high-profile productions.
